Elsevier Science Direct Cuts/Adds

We need your input. The UH Manoa Libraries (Hamilton) has just announced that in order to address a $1.5 million budget deficit, the UHM Library plans to cut approximately 2/3 of the electronic journals published or distributed by Elsevier (ScienceDirect). We in the Health Sciences Library have been aware of this and have assembled a separate list of Elsevier journal titles that we believe are critical to the work of our students and faculty. We would like your input as we cull this list. Please email Ginny Tanji at tanji@hawaii.edu or call her at 692-0810.

The JABSOM list is posted on our website at http://www.hawaii.edu/hslib/Jabsom%20Master%20SD%20Adds.pdf

Also, please give your input to the librarians at Hamilton. They are seeking student and faculty input before making a final decision. Please review the website below, and stop by Hamilton Library during one of the following days (Wed, May 2, Fri, May 5 or Tues, May 8, 9-5) to ask questions and provide input.
